De Soto celebrates the nation's birthday at the USD 232 west campus stadium with a little extra in recognition of its own founding.
At the Fourth of July community fireworks show, Rule of Three lead singer Bill Pelkey of De Soto belts out a tune as drummer Lonnie Floyd and bass guitarist Brian Poindexter provide the beat.
