Memorial services for Robert (Bob) E. Friday, 67, De Soto, were May 12 at Hillcrest Christian Church in Overland Park. Burial followed at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens
Mr. Friday died May 5, 2008.
He was born November 22, 1940 in Minneapolis, Minn., to Doris and Evan Friday. He was employed as an electrical engineer with Honeywell where he had worked for more than 40 years. He was a longtime member of the De Soto Planning Commission.
Mr. Friday is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cheryl Friday of the home; son Kevin; daughter Denise; and two brothers Richard and Phillip Friday, Minnesota.
