The Lexington Trails Middle School 2008 Football Camp will be held from July 28 to July 31. Anyone planning to play during the 2008 season is expected to attend. The camp is open to all football players entering the seventh or eighth grade in August. The basic fundamentals of football, teamwork and fun will be the focus.

- All high schoolers planning on playing football during the 2008 season are expected to attend the De Soto Wildcat Football Camp July 28 to August 1. The basic fundamentals of the football program will be taught, and the coaching staff will install the entire offensive, defensive and special teams packages. The camp will focus on preparation for the season.

The De Soto city brush pile at 35415 W. 79th St. will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Its use is restricted to city residents and only brush (not grass clippings) will be accepted.
