Sunflower State Games deadline nears

The deadline to register for the Sunflower State Games is 5 p.m. Friday, July 11.
Those interested may register online at sunflowergames.com. The Games also accepts registrations by mail, fax or in the office at 820 S. Kansas Ave. Topeka, KS. Some of the 40 different sports also accept day-of registrations.
Topeka will play host to the 19th annual sports festival July 11-27 completing its seventh year in the Capital City. Kansans of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in the 40 different sports. Handball, pickleball, powerlifting and table tennis joins the line-up for new sports offered in the 2008 Games. All athletes and volunteers are invited to the Athlete and Volunteer Festival at 6 p.m. Friday, July 18, at Hummer Sports Park.
