Church picnic planned
The De Soto United Methodist Church will have a family picnic from 4 to 9 p.m. June 24 at the Kill Creek Park, shelter No. 3.
Those planning to attend are asked to bring side dishes, lawn chairs, guitars and yard games.
The fellowship committee will furnish hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, table service and tea and lemonade.
Committee members are Mary Plummer, Penny Buehler, Rita Jones and Lyndie Wilhite.
